If my item is damaged… (Return to top)

We make every effort to prevent shipping damages. If your product appears damaged upon receipt, simply REFUSE the shipment. If the shipping company has left and you realize that your package(s) is damaged, immediately contact Customer Service at 1-503-207-0969. You must notify Customer Service via telephone within 48 hours of receipt of package. All Damaged Exchanges must be returned double boxed (manufacturers box must be inside of another box designed for shipping) with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note, explaining why the product is being returned, in the original merchandise box. Exchanges are made for the same model only.

If you should place an order with Buy Squad and then refuse a package for any reason other than damage to the merchandise in the box, please know that you will receive a refund for the amount of your original transaction less any shipping charges Buy Squad incurred in getting the package to you originally as well as the cost of the return shipping. The box and packaging material inside the box are designed to protect your product. They are designed to absorb the impact of shipping. Just because there are visible signs of damage to the box does not mean that your product inside is damaged. You must remove the box and inspect the contents inside before signing for delivery!

If there is any damage to your product, you must refuse the delivery, do not sign for it, and note the damage on the delivery form. You must do this in order for us to file a claim on your behalf and ship you another unit. If you accept the package(s) damaged, the shipping company will not cover damages to the product under their insurance policy. If your merchandise is damaged and you do not notify Customer Service via telephone within 48 hours, you waive all claims with respect to damage and release Buy Squad from liability.

For the convenience of our valued customers we offer an easy to follow return policy for defective items. Eligible defective products may be returned for an exchange within 7 days from the date your product was delivered. Defective products will be exchanged for the same model only. Defective products must be returned with the original box and packaging and with all included materials including, but not limited to, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. The UPC label must be intact. We reserve the right to charge for all missing materials.

The 7 day defective exchange policy does not apply to TVs 32" and larger, any oversized product(s) shipped via our motor freight company (not UPS/FedEx), car audio products, receiver systems and satellite systems (Auto or Home - Including HDTV Receivers). If any of these items are deemed defective, they will be covered exclusively by the manufacturers’ warranties, and you must contact the manufacturer for any repairs. If you need assistance with arranging service, please call us at 1-503-207-0969.

Note: Defective TVs 37" and larger will be serviced by a manufacturer authorized service provider who will be chosen at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. Defective TVs 37” and larger that can not be repaired will be replaced by their manufacturers.

To process a defective return/exchange you must contact Customer Service at 1-503-207-0969. All returns/exchanges require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). This will be provided by Customer Service. All Returns/Exchanges must be double boxed (manufacturers box must be inside of another box designed for shipping), with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note, explaining what is wrong with the item, in the original merchandise box.

If I don’t like or don’t want my item… (Return to top)

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may (after obtaining a Return Authorization Number), exchange or return the merchandise for a refund within 7 days of receipt (Less shipping & handling charges to and from the customer. A 15% restocking fees will apply). All returned merchandise must be free from damage of any kind, and be in its original factory box with all original packing materials, warranty cards, manuals, accessories, UPC label intact, and any other included materials.

This 7 day return policy does not apply to televisions, any oversized product(s) shipped via motor freight (not UPS/FedEx), headsets, Bluetooth items, receiver systems, satellite systems (Auto or Home - Including HDTV Receivers), car stereo merchandise, or open box/clearance merchandise. All Satellite Systems (Auto or Home - Including HDTV Receivers) and open box/clearance merchandise are Final Sale. Please note that Buy Squad, Inc. is not able to accept returns of activated DirecTV products. These items must be returned directly to their manufacturer.

All Returns/Exchanges require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Returns without RA#s will not be accepted. To obtain a Return Authorization Number, you must contact Customer Service at 1-503-207-0969. All Returns/Exchanges must be double boxed (manufacturer’s box must be inside of another box designed for shipping) with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note explaining why the product is being returned in the original merchandise box. There are NO refunds on Special Ordered Products. There are no returns or exchanges on registered warranty or performance plans.

Please Note:

Free shipping
If your order was shipped for free or at a promotional shipping rate, you will incur the actual "to and from" UPS/Freight charges upon returning merchandise.

Refused and Undeliverable Packages
In the event that you refuse your package, you will be subject to paying the full shipping price of the product both ways. If you ordered an item that has Free shipping you will be charged the full shipping amount. In addition, if your package is undeliverable due to incorrect information provided by you the purchaser or any other reason that is not the fault of Buy Squad, Inc., the purchaser is responsible for payment of the full shipping amount both ways.

Restocking Fees
All returns will be subject to a 15 percent restocking fee for all non-defective opened merchandise. If the return does not include all original parts, accessories, is missing the UPC label, or is not double boxed, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for the missing materials. Additionally, if your UPC label is missing we reserve the right to charge for the Rebate Offer amount.

If the timeframe has passed to return the item to Buy Squad, Inc. or arrange for an exchange, you must contact the manufacturer for repairs or a replacement.

Our normal business hours are from Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Pacific Time. We are closed on the weekend, and most major holidays. Orders placed after our shipping cut-off time on Friday will be processed the following Monday. Please note: processing time does not include shipping time. How long will my item take to arrive? (Return to top)

Once your order is confirmed, processing typically takes 24-48 hours (before it is shipped). Once processed and handed over to the shipping carrier, it goes into transit. Our Standard Free Shipping transit time is 7-14 Business Days.

Please Note: This is the amount of time it will take for your purchase to reach you after it has been shipped. For example, if you choose second day delivery, you will receive your purchase 2 business days after it has been shipped. There are several factors that influence how long it will take us to ship your order.

  1. The item must be in stock. Our website indicates each product’s availability. Please use this as an estimate as to how long it will take your item(s) to leave our warehouse.
  2. Your credit card company plays a role in how quickly your order is processed. While we will process your credit card as part of our order process, any issues with your account or provider may delay the shipment of your order.

Transit Method and Time for products weighing less than 40 lbs

Products weighing less than 40 lbs are generally shipped either via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Transit time is generally 5-10 Business Days.

Transit Method and Time for products large bulky items such as televisions and appliances

We normally ship larger products with freight service. This ensures that your unit is handles properly, kept upright at all times, and safely secured and transported from our warehouse to your home. Please understand that arranging for trucking service takes time, so your patience is much appreciated. If you are using our Standard Free Shipping, transit time generally takes between 7-14 Business Days. We do not offer tracking information on our Free Standard Shipping service. For faster shipping service, Expedited Shipping is available upon checkout. In addition to expedite shipping service, we also offer our top-of-the-line, White Glove Service. Please ask us about it.

  • Standard Freight Shipping (Free on most items)
    Shipping transit time is generally 7-14 Business Days. This service includes delivery to the main entrance or garage (but does not include stairs). This service does not include unpacking, plugging in, installation or packing materials removal. No tracking information available.
  • Expedited Freight Shipping
    Shipping transit time is generally 5-7 Business Days. This expedited delivery type is used for heavy and oversized items (large TVs and appliances). This expedited service includes delivery to the main entrance or garage (but does not include stairs). This service does not include unpacking, plugging in, installation or packing materials removal. Confirmation of your order and delivery will be sent via e-mail or a phone call. Tracking information is provided.
  • White Glove Delivery
    This is a special service for those who do not have the manpower or capabilities to unload the products (large TVs and appliances) and take it into your home or office. It includes special delivery plus un-crating, setting your products in place, and removing the packing materials. This service does not include installation of any type. This service can be selected during your checkout process under 'Shipping & Handling' selection type with an additional charge to your order. Confirmation of your order and delivery will be sent via e-mail or a phone call. The white glove company will contact you directly to arrange for a convenient delivery time. (You will experience delays in receiving your goods if the shipping company cannot contact you to set up a delivery time). Please Note: Our White Glove Service only delivers to the first floor and does not include assembling stands or connecting VCRs, DVD Players, or Satellite Systems. Please measure your doorways to ensure that the product will fit when delivered. White Glove Delivery Service is available only within the 48 contiguous United States. Can I have my item shipped to an international address, US PO Box, or FPO/APO military address? (Return to top)

Buy Squad, Inc. ships to physical addresses in the contiguous 48 U.S. States. Buy Squad, Inc. cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, U.S. territories outside the contiguous 48 States, freight forwarders, shipping ports, unverified or unconfirmed addresses, or any overseas or international addresses. Additionally, Buy Squad, Inc. will not ship to hotels, motels, or other places of temporary occupation. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In order to protect our customers, whenever the shipping address is different than the credit card's billing address we require the following before we can ship your order:

Contact your credit card issuer and add the shipping address to your account as a secondary shipping address. This will not affect your credit card billing or your credit card account in any way. What is Shipping Insurance? (Return to top)

Shipping insurance protects your product against the possibility of loss, theft, or damage; and it is recommended on all orders. Standard delivery service does not include shipping insurance. Due the construction of certain television models, shipping insurance will be required in order to ensure your product arrives safely and undamaged.

What do I do if something is missing from the box? (Return to top)

If something is missing from the manufacturer’s box (i.e. a remote control or instruction manual), you should contact the manufacturer directly to expedite receipt of the missing item. If something is missing from the shipping box (i.e. you ordered 2 items and only 1 is delivered) this means that the additional item will be arriving separately. In this case, you can contact Customer Service at 1-503-207-0969 or orders@buysquad.com to check the status of a missing item.

After arranging for a damaged exchange, how long will it take to receive my new item? (Return to top)

We make every effort to ship inventory as quickly as possible. We can not ship your new item, however, until the damaged item is in our possession or that of our shipping company. From that point, you can expect your item to ship in 48-72 business hours.
